OLD TAUNTON COLONY CLUB
No Bubbler/Fountain/Pump Rule
Purpose:
To preserve and maintain the natural circulation and flow of water throughout Taunton Lake and its tributaries.
Rule:
The use or operation of bubblers, fountains, pumps, or other devices that would artificially circulate water within the lake is prohibited. Furthermore, the use of these or similar types of devices to create open water wherein ice would not form, or soften or weaken ice is also prohibited.
Those members who are found in violation shall receive written notice and fined in the amount of $50.00 per day such equipment remains in place or use after receiving written notification.
This rule supersedes the “No Bubblers Rule” enacted by the Board of Trustees on February 9, 2005.
