Lake Lowering March 15-29
Taunton Lake has received its permits to lower the lake for the annual cleanup. The water level will begin going down on Saturday, March 15 and will begin raising back up the week of March 29. Obviously, this is not a precise process, weather and other lakes will affect how low the lake is on each day, but we aim to be as consistent as possible.
Remember that fishing is prohibited during this time of high stress on the fish population.
If you are planning any work on your dock, now is the time to initiate the mandatory approval process. We may not be able to accommodate late requests. As mentioned in the Taunton Times newsletter, any dock work, beyond basic repairs, needs approval in advance of starting work.
