Not even an intermittent drizzle could dampen the spirits of dozens of people who showed up for the 2001Annual Picnic on Sunday, July 29.
OTCC board member Paul Davis served as announcer and MC. New activities this year included a Treasure Hunt and a Parent/Child Three-Legged Race. Returning from last year was the Greased Watermelon Contest (in which the object is to carry the watermelon out of the water to shore).
In addition to hamburgers and hot dogs, this year's menu featured a roast pig.
As usual, the highlight of the picnic was the awarding of trophies to the entrants of the Fourth Annual Youth Fishing Tourney. Click here for a photo of all the trophy winners. The top awards were:
