A Perfect Day for a Picnic
The weather was perfect for the 2009 Taunton Lake annual picnic. About 160 Taunton Lake residents, their families and friends enjoyed the event on Saturday, July 18. Also in attendance were Medford Mayor David Brown, Deputy Mayor Bob Martin, and Township Council Members Chris Myers and Mary Ann O'Brien. Mayor Brown even brought his guitar and played several songs with the band. As usual there were plenty of games for the kids, including a three-legged races, a greased watermelon contest, volleyball, crafts and a pinata. Activities for the adults included volleyball, plenty of food, conversation and live music. Our thanks to the many Medford merchants who donated gifts for door prizes: | |
