a Big Success |
Despite 90-plus degree heat, approximately 70 people attended the Annual Picnic on Sunday, August 1, 1999. The highlight of the picnic was the awarding of trophies to the 14 entrants of the Second Annual Youth Fishing Tourney. Click here for a photo of the trophy winners. And here's a close-up of the first place trophy. The top awards were:
1st Place | Chris Watson | ||
2nd Place | Sean Deffler | ||
3rd Place | John Reigert | ||
Longest Fish | Aileen Scullin | ||
Most Fish | Abby Watson |
Thanks to Old Taunton Colony Club president Bob Scullin for organizing the picnic (and for slaving over a hot charcoal grill for much of the afternoon), and to board member Chuck Watson for coordinating the Fishing Tourney.
